MIchigan will have one of the most experienced offenses (11+ starters returning) and defenses in the country (5+ starters returning). Will Campbell's commitment was huge, because the DL is supposed to be UM's major weakness (besides the secondary). Plus Michigan has 4 more spots to fill on the recruiting slate. It's looking like Michigan will finish with back to back Top 10 recruiting classes under RR, which is encouraging to say the least after a 2008 full of legal distractions, player defections, a 3-9-0 season, 5 major recruit decommits from Michigan (Newsome, McNeal, Beaver, Fera, Campbell).
Not much has gone Michigan's way in 2008.
I don't think it's out of line to predict Michigan to start out 2009 at least 4-1 and possiblly 6-0 depending on how poorly the Notre Stain team plays in Ann Arbor, and how weak the new Oct. 17th Michigan opponent may be.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Campbell on the field. The only person I am more excited about is Tate.
Explain to me how someone who is undersized and not really all that fast can be good enough to make Shav'd Beaver and other top QB recruits afraid to even compete against him?
